A Great Fourth of July
We had a very low-key Fourth of July. I received a wonderful review from Ellis on some home cooked burgers: “These are the best burgers you’ve ever made!” Suffice to say we’ve come a long way from a year ago when we had to bribe Ellis to eat burgers with bites of M&M’s in between.
We had a nice visit from my parents who were roped into a high stakes lightsaber battle. Aside from that, we watched TV and Movies, ate some Blue Bell, and just generally took it easy.
It was just what we needed after finishing a week stay at the hospital for round 2 of chemo. Ellis continues to receive good updates from Doctors and is making good progress. We are going in early next week for another checkup and will continue to pray for positive news. We are really grateful for our fantastic medical team.
